At least 10 years of professional experience in informal procurement or sales, strong preference for candidates who have worked in FMCG, Social Sector, Microfinance, Unorganized Retail, or Agri, sectors.
• Typical experience includes Vendor/Supplier/Customer Relationships and Management including but not limited to Discovery, Selection, Onboarding, Procurement and/or Sales
• Ability to work with both formal sector supplier (corporates, businesses) as well as informal sector suppliers (traders, kabadiwallahs) with ease
• Knowledge of and comfort with basic reporting and analysis tools (such as excel)
• Basic cost accounting skills and ability to make cost driven decisions
• Excellent negotiation and business deal-making skills.
• Should have managed a team and/or territory i.e. at least 5-8 direct reports.
