Responsibilities:
• Develop configuration management scripts.
• Develop Nagios plugins.
• Develop applications and dashboard with Elastic search and Kibana.
• Have the ability to configure apache httpd reverse proxy.
• Have the ability develop remote management scripts thru RunDeck or similar tools.
• Have Good shell scripting knowledge.
• Have the ability to understand system resource utilization.
• Have good understanding of Hadoop ecosystem (Mapr, Pentaho, Hive, HBase, Spark, Flume, Kafka, etc).
Skill Set: Mandatory
Linux
Shell scripting
Hadoop ecosystem, Hive, MapR, Spark
Tomcat, Apache
Monitoring - Nagios, Nagios plugin development
RunDeck or similar tool.
