Worked extensively with Photoshop/Illustrator/Sketch or similar software suite A very strong portfolio, preferably with work that is consumer oriented website or mobile app (preferentially in E-commerce domain)Presence on Dribble or Behance Understand interaction design and user experience design, think user first Create mock-ups on the fly for interaction design prototypes Wireframe with colors and give importance to elements based on product feature goals and business goal Understand user journeys, user persona, user scenarios, user stories, page flows and translate them to wireframes that meet product feature goals Deep understanding of colors and their significance based on their usage Basic understanding of development in HTML/CSS
