Wordpress Developer

Requirements:

Expert knowledge of WordPress, PHP, MySQL, HTML and jQuery
Intimate understanding of WordPress theme architecture, functions, hooks, custom post types
Expert at developing using WordPress standards
Experience creating custom WordPress plugins
Working knowledge of CSS and “just-enough-to-be-dangerous” visual design skills
Works well independently and with other developers
Experience drafting functional specifications
Writes efficient and well-documented code
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and complete tasks in a timely manner

Responsibilities:

Developing WordPress plugins and custom functionality
Developing and maintaining WordPress-based applications
Working closely with internal team to understand and formulate solutions to client needs
A variety of other tasks involved in the development life cycle from start to finish
