I am currently a B.Tech (IT) 2025 pass-out working as a Technical Consultant at Embee Software, Noida. I have applied to many companies through both on-campus and off-campus drives. The company I am working at was an on-campus selection. I also appeared for interviews at Amazon, IBM, GrapeCity, etc.
Application story
I applied through Naukri for the fresher hiring of 2025 batch students. After submitting the application, I received the OA link, which had to be completed within 5 days. The assessment lasted about 3–4 hours and consisted of 4 sections: DSA (2 coding questions), behavioral questions, job work simulation, and leadership questions.
Why selected/rejected for the role?
I was not selected because I gave average and neutral responses in the leadership section of the OA. In that section, for every question we had to choose one option out of five possible responses based on what we felt was most aligned with us. The first response was strongly in favor of the situation and the last was strongly against it, but I chose middle or neutral answers for most of the questions. However, in leadership assessments, you are expected to strongly agree or strongly disagree with certain traits rather than stay in the middle. Because of this, I was not selected for further rounds.

Tip 1: Give to-the-point answers for leadership questions.
Tip 2: Prepare DSA well in a time-limited manner.
Tip 3: Revise OOPs.

1. Longest Substring with K-Repeating Characters

You are the owner of a Shipment company. You use conveyor belts to ship packages from one port to another. The packages must be shipped within 'd' days.
The weights of the packages are given in an array 'weights'. The packages are loaded on the conveyor belts every day in the same order as they appear in the array. The loaded weights must not exceed the maximum weight capacity of the ship.
Find out the least-weight capacity so that you can ship all the packages within 'd' days.
Problem approach
We can use binary search on the answer because this problem has a monotonic relationship: if a certain capacity C allows us to ship all packages within D days, then any capacity greater than C will also work (and vice versa).
