There were several questions from Unix, SQL, aptitude, logical reasoning, and one programming problem—finding a loop in a linked list. In 2022, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I gave this interview, and all three rounds were conducted online. The process started at 11 AM. My Interview in Detail: In my interview panel, there was only one interviewer. He asked me to introduce myself, which I did with confidence. After this, he started questioning me about my extracurricular activities. There was a deep discussion about the major project I had worked on in my previous company. Then, he asked me SQL queries, Linux-related questions, and some cloud concepts, ranging from low to high difficulty levels. Several questions on shell scripting and coding were also asked, but they were basic and easy. After that, there was a second round where he inquired about all my previous work experience mentioned in my resume. Later, another interviewer joined the panel (I was not aware at the time that he was going to be my manager). HR Round: The HR round was the most challenging part for me, as it involved salary negotiations. You need to be good at negotiation and prove why the company should pay you the requested amount. However, it was a standard HR interview where he asked me to introduce myself and discussed basic topics like relocation and Amdocs’ company policies. Conclusion: Try to answer all questions confidently, maintain a pleasant smile, and be genuine with your resume. Dress appropriately and research Amdocs thoroughly before attending the interview. Results: I was selected.
