It started with understanding the job market in my field and analysing the gaps in my current skillset and required skillset in the industry. I worked on the gaps using some secondary research and doing courses on them. I brushed up on my coding skills and applied for the jobs. Within 3 months I was able to receive multiple shortlists and I chose the one that gave the best offer and work profile.
Application story
I sent my resume to my friend in the company for referral. I received a HR call within 1 week to understand my profile and explain the vacancy. He scheduled my technical interviews for next 2 weeks and followed by a business understanding round.

I was selected as my technical skills were as per the requirement and my business acumen was also good.
