Journey
It was for a research staff role, so they were mainly interested in core CSE subjects like operating systems and in-depth C++. I found some helpful YouTube videos, and the book Getting In-Depth with C++ also contributed significantly. Apart from that, I also practised aptitude questions since they were included in the first test.
Application story
It was an on-campus drive, so we received the Google Form for the initial test. After the initial screening, we took the test, followed by two rounds of interviews.
Why selected/rejected for the role?
I was selected mainly due to my in-depth knowledge of C++ and my strong working knowledge of Python. The DSA questions asked were also of medium level.
Preparation
Duration: 2 Months
Topics: Operating System, Aptitude, C++, DSA, Python
Tip 1: Gain in-depth knowledge of pointers.
Tip 2: The Operating System is the most important subject.
Tip 3: Having knowledge of DBMS is a plus.
Application process

Eligibility: 8 CGPA, (Salary Package: 11.2LPA)
Tip 1: Mention at least 2 projects.
Tip 2: Stay prepared for everything you include on your resume.

It was in college at around 10 in the morning. It had around 30 MCQs based on aptitude and general programming, such as output and syntax.
1. Recursion
A simple 4 line code snippet based on recursion was given.
