Why selected/rejected for the role?
Booking.com takes too long to make a decision (according to candidates on YouTube). They say the entire process takes around 2.5 months. So, I guess I haven't been selected or rejected yet, but I'm still being considered for the role.

It was a monitored HackerRank round scheduled for 6:30 PM IST. Three engineers were interviewing me and assisting me in solving a problem.
1. Machine Coding Question
- Create an autocomplete text box using vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- What are the things you would consider while designing an autocomplete feature, such as edge cases? Also, weigh the must-haves against the nice-to-haves.
Problem approach
Tip 1: Gain hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript (through practice), and pay close attention to syntax.
Tip 2: Don't hesitate to ask questions, clarify doubts, or express concerns. Also, discuss alternative approaches.
