Cyber security Analyst & Penetration Tester

Hello Everyone, My name is Niraj Kumar. I come from Darbhanga, which is a district in Bihar. I have completed all my schooling till class 12, from my home town. I completed my 12th in 2018 from CBSE board getting 92%. I started preparing for JEE from 2018 to 2019 in Kota, Rajasthan. I cleared JEE in 2019 and took admission in NIT Mizoram, pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. In November 2022, when I was in my final year, CDAC was the first PSU that came to hire us. 24 students from final year applied for this job in various roles. Eligibility was also very simple, only 7 CGPA and above students were allowed. There was only resume shortlisting and then interview happened. So now when the result came only 3 out of 24 were shortlisted for Hyderabad centre. Next day itself all the interviews happened. Talking about my interview, it started with my basic introduction, then he started with my projects that I mentioned on my resume. Interviewer was very friendly and he listened to all my projects. Now he started with technical questions which included questions from Computer Architecture, DBMS,OOPs, DSA and C++. Interview lasted for 45 to 50 minutes. After this round result came on that day itself and only 2 were selected. My name was also there. Because this was my third job offer, I was very much excited and many of my friends congratulated me. My parents were also very happy as this was the first PSU offer I got. So this was all about my interview experience, I hope the ones who are reading they get some idea about how onboarding at CDAC happens. I wish best of luck to all who are preparing for placements. Focus on your fundamentals like OOPs, DSA, C++ and that's it. Prepare a descent level of resume and with a smiling face & confidence, appear for the interview and you will for sure crack it. This was on campus offer and CDAC came with many job openings across various location. I have applied for 4 location and got selected for Hyderabad. Total 3 out of 24 were selected for hyderabad location. They only did resume shortlisting and they called for interview. During interview there were 5 people who were asking questions one by one. Interview lasted for 45 to 50 minutes. It was in online mode. The same day itself the results came and i was selected.

I was finally selected in this company. I think they got impressed with my B.Tech project and my knowledge over the computer science core subjects. I have given my maximum time in preparing all the core subjects which ultimately benefitted me. My learning would be that there were some portions of my project which i could not explain to them properly so i got an idea that i need to revise even the extreme points of my project.
