Journey
I came to know about this job from there official site i have applied to this job and get selected for exam, then i have given the exam and also got selected for the interview
Application story
I applied for this profile on the company website where i got the test link after applying for the jobs
Why selected/rejected for the role?
I was not able to answer the optimal approach for a problem that's why i think i was rejected in the interview
Preparation
Duration: 4 months
Topics: Data Structures, Pointers, OOPS, System Design, Algorithms, Dynamic Programming
Tip
Tip

Tip 1 : Graph should be on your tips.
Tip 2 : While explaining the solution to interviewer, dont just hop onto the most optimal solution. Start with the brute force one, give the cons of brute force solution, and then go step by step till you reach the optimal solution.
Tip 3 : Improve on your communication skills as well.

Where: Company Website
Eligibility: Above 7 CGPA
Resume Tip
Resume tip

Tip 1 : Mention only what is required for your profile, for e.g. do not stress too much on your co curricular stuff. Rather, try explaining more of your technical stuff that is relevant for your job.
Tip 2 : keep it limited to 1 page. And make sure its a pdf and not an image.

1. Puzzle

There are 2 trees in a garden (tree "A" and "B") and on both trees are some birds.
The birds of tree A say to the birds of tree B that if one of you comes to our tree, then our population will be the double of yours.
Then the birds of tree B tell to the birds of tree A that if one of you comes here, then our population will be equal to that of yours. How many birds in each tree?

There are ‘N’ horses running in ‘N’ different lanes numbered from 1 to ‘N’. You are given an array “FINISHTIME” containing ‘N’ integers where “FINISHTIME[i]” represents the time taken by the ith horse to complete the race.

You are now given ‘Q’ queries, each containing two integers each, ‘L’ and ‘R’. For each query, return the time taken by the fastest horse amongst the horses with numbers {L, L + 1, L + 2, …., R - 1, R} to complete the race.

Note:
The fastest horse is the one that takes the minimum time to finish the race.

You have been given an array/list of strings 'STR_LIST'. You are supposed to return the strings as groups of anagrams such that strings belonging to a particular group are anagrams of one another.

Note :
An Anagram is a word or phrase formed by rearranging the letters of a different word or phrase. We can generalize this in string processing by saying that an anagram of a string is another string with the same quantity of each character in it, in any order.
Example:
{ “abc”, “ged”, “dge”, “bac” }
In the above example the array should be divided into 2 groups. The first group consists of { “abc”, “bac” } and the second group consists of { “ged”, “dge” }.

You have been given a matrix of ‘N’ rows and ‘M’ columns filled up with integers. Find the minimum sum that can be obtained from a path which from cell (x,y) and ends at the top left corner (1,1).

From any cell in a row, we can move to the right, down or the down right diagonal cell. So from a particular cell (row, col), we can move to the following three cells:

Down: (row+1,col)
Right: (row, col+1)
Down right diagonal: (row+1, col+1)
Problem approach

Given a cost matrix cost[][] and a position (m, n) in cost[][], write a function that returns cost of minimum cost path to reach (m, n) from (0, 0). Each cell of the matrix represents a cost to traverse through that cell. Total cost of a path to reach (m, n) is sum of all the costs on that path (including both source and destination). You can only traverse down, right and diagonally lower cells from a given cell, i.e., from a given cell (i, j), cells (i+1, j), (i, j+1) and (i+1, j+1) can be traversed. You may assume that all costs are positive integers.
For example, what is the minimum cost path to (2, 2)?
The path with minimum cost is highlighted in the following figure. The path is (0, 0) –> (0, 1) –> (1, 2) –> (2, 2). The cost of the path is 8 (1 + 2 + 2 + 3).
