Journey
In the lockdown period, I started my journey to where I am today. When the first lockdown prevailed I started to learn DSA, and I think that was the best time to learn DSA because no pressure from college was there for its useless assignments and all. In the lockdown of around 6 months, I learnt the basic algorithms and at the end I started practising on leetcode and codechef like platforms, they helped me a lot during my journey.
Application story
I was practising DSA on a regular day when I saw a small advertisement kind of on leetcode. I opened it and I got to find that company is looking for some fresher graduates to serve as SDE-1. I applied to it and after three rounds, I was selected.
Why selected/rejected for the role?
I think I had the appropriate skills and a good amount of knowledge to prove that I was the right man for the post. I also solved coding questions in the optimal manner.

You are given an array ‘ARR’ of size ‘N’ containing each number between 1 and ‘N’ - 1 at least once. There is a single integer value that is present in the array twice. Your task is to find the duplicate integer value present in the array.

For example:

Consider ARR = [1, 2, 3, 4, 4], the duplicate integer value present in the array is 4. Hence, the answer is 4 in this case.
Note :
A duplicate number is always present in the given array.

You're given a string 'S' consisting of "{", "}", "(", ")", "[" and "]" .

Return true if the given string 'S' is balanced, else return false.

For example:
'S' = "{}()".

There is always an opening brace before a closing brace i.e. '{' before '}', '(' before ').

1. House Robber II

Mr. X is a professional robber planning to rob houses along a street. Each house has a certain amount of money hidden.

All houses along this street are arranged in a circle. That means the first house is the neighbour of the last one. Meanwhile, adjacent houses have a security system connected, and it will automatically contact the police if two adjacent houses are broken into on the same night.

You are given an array/list of non-negative integers 'ARR' representing the amount of money of each house. Your task is to return the maximum amount of money Mr. X can rob tonight without alerting the police.

Note:
It is possible for Mr. X to rob the same amount of money by looting two different sets of houses. Just print the maximum possible robbed amount, irrespective of sets of houses robbed.

For example:
(i) Given the input array arr[] = {2, 3, 2} the output will be 3 because Mr X cannot rob house 1 (money = 2) and then rob house 3 (money = 2), because they are adjacent houses. So, he’ll rob only house 2 (money = 3)

(ii) Given the input array arr[] = {1, 2, 3, 1} the output will be 4 because Mr X rob house 1 (money = 1) and then rob house 3 (money = 3).

(iii) Given the input array arr[] = {0} the output will be 0 because Mr. X has got nothing to rob.
