An e-wallet should provide users with essential transaction management features, including adding, deleting, and viewing complete transaction details. These functionalities help users efficiently track and manage their finances. Users should be able to add transactions easily by entering key details such as the amount, transaction type (income or expense), date, category (e.g., food, travel, bills), and payment method (credit card, bank transfer, or wallet balance). The system should support both manual entry and automatic logging when linked to bank accounts or other payment services. To enhance usability, users should also be able to set recurring transactions for monthly bills or subscriptions.

To maintain accurate financial records, users should have the option to delete transactions, which is helpful in cases of duplicate entries, incorrect amounts, or unauthorized transactions. A confirmation prompt should be included to prevent accidental deletions. Additionally, implementing an undo option or keeping a deletion history log can offer extra security, allowing users to recover mistakenly removed transactions.

A detailed transaction history should be available, enabling users to filter and search by date, category, or transaction type. Each transaction should display relevant information such as the merchant name, transaction ID, and payment method. Advanced features like spending analysis, graphical summaries, and budget tracking can further enhance the user experience. Real-time notifications for completed transactions can also improve financial awareness.
