I was already a working professional with more than 1 years of experience. I had interest in programming but my work was not related to any kind coding. So I decided to brush up my basics again and started looking for a new role. That is when I received a call for an open position at GlobalLogic. I applied for it and completed the entire interview process within 4 days.
Application story
A person from the HR team reached out me. They found my profile from Naukri and said that my profile matched the job description. So, I researched about the company and applied for the job. Everything was managed by the same person who reached out to me.
Why selected/rejected for the role?
I completed the initial tests and passed the technical interview rounds. Then in the HR round I spoke calmly and negotiated well, which led to getting selected.

You can take the test within 24 hours after receiving mail with the test link. It is like any online test. The camera and audio has to turned on. The screen sharing has to be enabled. There are no interviewers in this round.

You are given an array 'ARR' of 'N' positive integers. You need to find the minimum number of operations needed to make all elements of the array equal. You can perform addition, multiplication, subtraction or division with any element on an array element.
Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication or Division on any element of the array will be considered as a single operation.
Example:
If the given array is [1,2,3] then the answer would be 2. One of the ways to make all the elements of the given array equal is by adding 1 to the array element with value 1 and subtracting 1 from the array element with value 3. So that final array would become [2,2,2].

The interview is scheduled keeping your preference in mind. It is a normal technical interview. You need to turn your mic and camera on. The interviewer gets a copy of the first round result and may discuss about it. Then they ask the basics of OOP, Core Java, DS etc. Then they might tell you to share screen and show some basic implementation of OOP features like inheritance, overloading and overriding.

May ask to share screen and solve some basic problems using OOP features. Ask you to explain when to use overloading or overriding.
