I had given the Google interview in the month of august.I had got this opportunity through the Google Generation Scholarship. All the scholars were given an opportunity to give interview for SDE-Intern.
Application story
I was selected for Google Generation Scholarship,all the scholars along with me got an opportunity to interview at Google.Infact if you crack any Google Program like GSOC,GGS,GSOD etc then you would be invited for the interview.
Why selected/rejected for the role?
I was'nt selected as I was'nt able to optimize my approach of the coding question .I tried coding the brute force but the interviewer was looking for an optimized one.

Tip 1 : Prepare Whatever is mentioned in the resume
Tip 2 : Practice coding questions as much as you can

It was an online interview, we were given time slots.Timings were kind of flexible.As soon as I joined the interview ,the interviewer made my comfortable.He opened the code pair website which google uses for interview.The interviewer was polite and calm.

For Example:
For ‘WORD’ = “abcdefgh”, ‘N’ = 2. Following are the 2 strings of length 4.
