Selected Interview preparation journey
Journey
During my B.Tech, I started practicing coding questions and participating in interview mocks. I made a to-do list on a daily basis and covered topics according to the list. This helped me ensure that I didn't miss any topic. I practiced questions from Code Studio and other websites. For core subjects, I referred to YouTube channels.
Application story
This was an on-campus opportunity. I applied through the college placement cell. The first resume shortlisting was performed. After the online test 15 candidates were selected for interviews.
Why selected/rejected for the role?
The basic reason for my selection was my strong knowledge of core DSA fundamentals and my problem-solving ability. Moreover, I was confident while answering every question, and I think that was a major reason why the interviewer was impressed with me.
Preparation
Duration: 2 Months
Topics: DBMS, C, C++, OOPS, JAVA, Data Structures
Tip 1: Practice a minimum of 100 questions on each particular topic so that it will be easy to crack in no time.
Tip 2: Prepare a checklist so that you can cover all the topics.
Tip 3: Don't focus too much on a single topic. Cover all topics and prepare short notes for each, so, it will be easier for revision. Also, work on projects to add extra weight.

Where: Campus
Eligibility: 6.5 CGPA
Tip 1: The resume should be genuine. You have to be confident about everything that is written in it.
Tip 2: Projects add good weight to the resume, so the interviewer can ask questions based on them.

It was held in the evening from 4 to 7 pm. The environment was extremely good, and the coding platform was also good. This was the first round to qualify for the TR and HR interviews.
1. OS Questions
Problem approach
Tip 1: Go through the concepts thoroughly.
Tip 2: Grasp all the concepts so that you are well-prepared to answer the questions.
Tip 3: Practice all the concepts with examples.
2. DBMS Questions
What is alter command? (Learn)
He gave me a question and asked me to perform queries on that.
Problem approach
Tip 1: Practice SQL queries thoroughly.
Tip 2: Do a simple SQL query project to understand about all the queries.

It was held in the morning from 11:00 am to 11:30 am. The environment was good. The interviewer was a respectful person who was on time and asked the questions politely.

Problem approach
Tip 1: You have to speak wholeheartedly.
Tip 2: Be cool and solve the situation in an easy manner.
Tip 3: Be confident throughout the interview.
