Journey
Like every year, this year (2018), also INFOSYS visited our college. This was the first company to visit our college that year. We were very nervous. The company has two main processes. They are- Written round Technical & HR round If I clear the written round, I could appear for the next round, i.e., the Technical and HR rounds. DAY 1- WRITTEN ROUND Firstly, there was a written round. When we started our exam, it was divided into three parts— Quantitative Aptitude – Number of Questions (10), Time Limit (25 mins) Logical Reasoning – Number of Questions (15), Time Limit (35 mins) Verbal English – Number of Questions (40), Time Limit (35 mins) The time allotted for this online test was 1 hour, 35 minutes There were no negative marks There was a sectional cut-off The level of the question was moderate. Before taking the exam, I practiced the previous year's questions and also from books like Arun Sharma and RS Aggarwal. When you take the exam, focusing only on your own set is better. Because the time is much less, you will not want to lose even a second of it. We got the list of the shortlisted students, and I saw my name. I felt so happy. I was selected for the next round, which was tomorrow. DAY2-THE FINAL DAY I prepared the whole night, touching domains like programming languages like C, JAVA, DATA STRUCTURE, and DBMS. At my core, as I am an ECE student, I prepared Digital Electronics and basic electronics. I also looked at my final year project and other projects which I had done. So that you know, a Project is a must. It would be best if you had at least one project done. The interviewer asked questions to check my behavioral and communication skills. I was rated on the rating scale to make the final selection. After taking a deep breath upon interview completion, I eagerly awaited the final result announcements. But the wait was worth it. I finally got selected for the job on the result declaration date, seven days after my interview date. The experience was good, and I enjoyed it. The CV is crucial. They will go through your CV thoroughly. Could you mention only those things in your CV that you will be able to answer? And lastly, I would say BEST OF LUCK TO ALL.
Application story
Not much about as it is ON Campus, we can attend any number of companies if we are not placed, but if we get a job offer, we can't participate in any more on-campus drives.
Why selected/rejected for the role?
I had both the tips which I mentioned above, and I went to Java class outside of my college schedule I researched a lot about Infosys, like their history services, its customers, and their essential peoples this makes HR impressed.

Tip
Tip

My advice is to frame your resume; do not copy-paste resumes online. Even if you do, please do some editing and add some personal touch. Your resume can be handy in deciding how the interview has to be done; you can make the interviewer not go beyond whatever is mentioned in your resume.
