Given a singly linked list, you have to detect the loop and remove the loop from the linked list, if present. You have to make changes in the given linked list itself and return the updated linked list.

Expected Complexity: Try doing it in O(n) time complexity and O(1) space complexity. Here, n is the number of nodes in the linked list.

2. Kth Smallest and Largest Element of Array

You are given an array ‘Arr’ consisting of ‘N’ distinct integers and a positive integer ‘K’. Find out Kth smallest and Kth largest element of the array. It is guaranteed that K is not greater than the size of the array.

Example:

Let ‘N’ = 4,  ‘Arr’ be [1, 2, 5, 4] and ‘K’ = 3.
then the elements of this array in ascending order is [1, 2, 4, 5]. Clearly, the 3rd smallest and largest element of this array is 4 and 2 respectively.
Problem approach

Just use priority queue and remove the top index to get kth smallest.
Trick is kth smallest is the same number from right (n-k) largest. n is the size of the array.

1. Add Two Numbers As Linked Lists

Moderate

Asked in companies
SprinklrIBMDeutsche Bank

You are given two non-negative numbers 'num1' and 'num2' represented in the form of linked lists.

The digits in the linked lists are stored in reverse order, i.e. starting from least significant digit (LSD) to the most significant digit (MSD), and each of their nodes contains a single digit.

Calculate the sum of the two numbers and return the head of the sum list.

Example :
Input:
'num1' : 1 -> 2 -> 3 -> NULL
'num2' : 4 -> 5 -> 6 -> NULL

Output: 5 -> 7 -> 9 -> NULL

Explanation: 'num1' represents the number 321 and 'num2' represents 654. Their sum is 975.

You are given an array/list of ‘N’ integers. You are supposed to return the maximum sum of the subsequence with the constraint that no two elements are adjacent in the given array/list.

Note:
A subsequence of an array/list is obtained by deleting some number of elements (can be zero) from the array/list, leaving the remaining elements in their original order.
