Asked in companies
AmazonIntuitOptum

You have been given a singly Linked List in the form of 'L1' -> 'L2' -> 'L3' -> ... 'Ln'. Your task is to rearrange the nodes of this list to make it in the form of 'L1' -> 'Ln' -> 'L2' -> 'Ln-1' and so on. You are not allowed to alter the data of the nodes of the given linked list.

For example:
If the given linked list is 1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5 -> NULL.

Then rearrange it into 1 -> 5 -> 2 -> 4 -> 3 -> NULL.

A thief is robbing a store and can carry a maximal weight of W into his knapsack. There are N items and the ith item weighs wi and is of value vi. Considering the constraints of the maximum weight that a knapsack can carry, you have to find and return the maximum value that a thief can generate by stealing items.

1. Nth Fibonacci Number

Easy
0/40
Asked in companies
SAP LabsHCL TechnologiesWalmart

The n-th term of Fibonacci series F(n), where F(n) is a function, is calculated using the following formula -

    F(n) = F(n - 1) + F(n - 2),
    Where, F(1) = 1, F(2) = 1

Provided 'n' you have to find out the n-th Fibonacci Number. Handle edges cases like when 'n' = 1 or 'n' = 2 by using conditionals like if else and return what's expected.

"Indexing is start from 1"

Example :
Input: 6

Output: 8

Explanation: The number is ‘6’ so we have to find the “6th” Fibonacci number.
So by using the given formula of the Fibonacci series, we get the series:
[ 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21]
So the “6th” element is “8” hence we get the output.

1. Subset Sum

Easy

Asked in companies
AmazonGoldman SachsSAP Labs

You are given an array 'nums' of ‘n’ integers.

Return all subset sums of 'nums' in a non-decreasing order.

Note:
Here subset sum means sum of all elements of a subset of 'nums'. A subset of 'nums' is an array formed by removing some (possibly zero or all) elements of 'nums'.

For example
Input: 'nums' = [1,2]

Output: 0 1 2 3

Explanation:
Following are the subset sums:
0 (by considering empty subset)
1
2
1+2 = 3
So, subset sum are [0,1,2,3].
