Selected Interview preparation journey
Journey
During my B.Tech, I started practising coding questions and participating in interview mocks. I made a todo list on a daily basis and covered topics according to the list. This helped me ensure that I don't miss any topic. I practised questions from Code Studio and Interview Bit mainly. For core subjects, I referred to Gate Smashers youtube channel.
Application story
This was an on-campus opportunity. I applied through the college placement cell. The first resume shortlisting was performed. After the online test 15 candidates were selected for interviews.
Why selected/rejected for the role?
The basic reason for my selection was my strong knowledge of core DSA fundamentals and my problem-solving ability. Moreover, I was confident while answering every question. I think that was one major reason why the interviewer was impressed with me.
Preparation
Duration: 2 months
Topics: DBMS, C, C++, OOPS, JAVA, Data Structures
Tip 1 : Practice a minimum of 100 questions on that particular topics so that it will be easy to crack within no time.
Tip 2 : Prepare a checklist so that you can cover all the topics
Tip 3 : Don't stick on a single topic too much. Cover all and prepare short notes for all the topics so it will be easier for revision. Also do projects so that it will be a added weightage.
Application process
Where: Campus
Eligibility: 6.5 CGPA
Tip 1: Resume should be genuine. You have to be confident of whatever that is written in resume
Tip 2: Projects add a good weight to resume. So that interviewer asks the questions based on that.

Tip 1 : Go through the concepts thoroughly.
Tip 2 : Grasp all the concepts so that you are good enough to answer the questions
Tip 3 : Practice all the concepts with examples
2. DBMS
What is alter command ?
He gave me a question and asked me to perform queries on that.
Problem approach
Tip 1 : Practice SQL queries thoroughly
Tip 2 : Do a simple SQL query project to understand about all the queries.
Tip 3 : See w3 schools / tutorials point
