Journey
Quriverse is a new-age start-up that's building a one-stop destination for all anime fans and creators. I have been actively following them on all social platforms and one day, my linkedin has been bombarded with job openings at Quriverse. More than 50 people have posted about possible openings for a Mobile application developer. I took my chance and applied for the postition right away. This is how I ended up at Quriverse. The last 6-8 months has been the best time in my life. Relocating to Bangalore from Hyderabad was hard but the people at Quriverse made me feel like home. This is the 4th organization that I'm working with and never had I experienced such amazing people, culture and technologies.
Application story
After I completed my tenure at Google DSC, I immediately started looking out for my next stint. I began posting on LinkedIn about my work and connected with a lot of recruits. Then one day, my Linkedin has been bombarded with job openings at Quriverse. More than 50 people have posted about possible openings for a Mobile application developer role. I was following Quriverse from a long time as they are very much popular in the anime space. So, I took my chance and applied for the position right away. I received a call from the hiring manager on the very next day. They asked me few questions about when I would be ready for a virtual role. I took my time and prepared for the interview. The interview went on for 90 minutes straight where I asked more questions than the hiring team. I was very much interested in their application and I was a great fit to their organization. After a couple of weeks, I received another call from the hiring manager that explained me the next steps for the on-boarding process. Although I had to relocated for the role, I didn't have a single issue. I decided to accept the offer and this is how I ended up at Quriverse. The last 6-8 months has been the best time in my life. Relocating to Bangalore from Hyderabad was hard but the people at Quriverse made me feel like home.
Why selected/rejected for the role?

I was informed about the interview well advanced. With more than a week's time in hand, I thoroughly prepared for questions on DSA, System design and Computer fundamentals.

The interview started off with a brief introduction about the organization and the role that I'm applying for.

Later on, the interviewer asked me to introduce myself. The interviewer was very much calm and encouraging. I had some issues with my microphone but the interviewer was patient and reassuring.

After my introduction, the interviewer asked me about my technical expertise with reference to the role that I have applied for. The next 30-45 minutes revolved on various flutter questions and topics such as Dart, Android architecture, Flutter state management, widgets.

I was then tested about my knowledge in System design. I designed a high level architecture of their application and they were already impressed. I also gave some good suggestions that they could add in their application from a technological point of view.
