Tip 1 : Detailed working and calculations of any productivity improvement project should be on fingertips
Tip 2 : Situation reaction tests should be done e.g. what would you do in a situation where workers/associates are denying delivering under the shorter timeline, how would you get the work done etc.
Tip 3 : Show your people involvement skills e.g. in solving a problem you worked along with the team and proved your analysis and concept that it works and then you rolled out the project company wide by showing the proof and working alongside teams from different locations

Tip 1 : Show a lot of big projects in your resume. Also, make sure that the projects clearly have project achievements mentioned e.g. Delivered savings of ~9 Crore INR achieved by onboarding a more productive workforce using zero-based budgeting
Tip 2 : Make a small table of achievements at the top of the resume. Use every space in your resume judiciously, don't make unnecessarily lengthy resumes

First round was conducted during day time (afternoon) in a well lit cabin.
The major focus was to see how I look at project execution - how these should be done and what is the right way do it.
Also, i was asked situation-based questions to understand how would I react in them

The responses were noted down by the interviewer on my resume itself

1. Situation Based questions on Operations Design

Explain how would you roll out a process change, which associates/workers are opposing

Problem approach

Tip 1 : Reiterate the problem and ask that have I understood the problem in its entirety
Tip 2 : Make certain assumptions and clearly mention those assumptions to the interviewer say I am assuming that there are 10 operations center and I am piloting the project in one of the biggest center
Tip 3 : Explain your reasoning behind those assumptions and then explain how would you roll out a project use people management and TQM skills

2. Project Execution

Explain one project that you did and that you think was complex in nature. Also, share the associated benefits from the success of that project

Problem approach

Tip 1 : Make a list of projects from your resume that are complex in nature and that can show your caliber to the interviewer. Also, categorize those projects under different headings e.g. leadership, frugality, bias for action, etc. so that you have a project in mind as soon as the interviewer shares the criteria of a project for explanation
Tip 2 : Make sure that you share only 4-5 top-level details - e.g. out of the many things that I did in this project top 4-5 were. This would allow the interviewer to select and pick what he/she wants to ask. Also, this would give you more time to speak and hence allow you to keep making your good impression on the interviewer
Tip 3 : To any question prepare a speech of not more than 1.5 min (that's the max. time for which an interviewer listens attentively)

3. Puzzle

There are 6 weights of them 5 are of equal weight while 1 is different. These all are look alike. Without measuring how would you differentiate the odd one out

Problem approach

Tip 1 : Don't get stressed with the problem. Relax and ask for some time
Tip 2 : Think through. I showed the hand pallet usage to solve this query
Tip 3 : Always think - how can you solve the problem using min. no. of steps

4. Vendor Management

Share any example where it was complicated for you to handle vendors

Problem approach

Tip 1 : Think through and share a relevant example
Tip 2 : the intent of asking this question is to understand your people management skills

5. Conflict Resolution

Share an example of conflict with your peers/management. Also, share how did you resolve the conflict

Problem approach

Tip 1 : Share any example where you wanted the support of your peers in executing a project, however, they were differing from your opinion
Tip 2 : Keep your answer succinct and short
Tip 3 : Read on google people management skills
