Application story

I was searching for job portals when I discovered the rtCamp campus job portal. I saw an opening for a React Engineer position and being experienced with the MERN stack, I applied for the job via my GitHub account. After submitting my application, rtCamp's HR and technical teams shortlisted me based on my GitHub account and resume. Once shortlisted, I received study materials and an interview schedule from the HR team via email. Then, I had a one-hour, one-on-one interview with rapid-fire questions. The interviewer was satisfied with my responses, and after a 10-minute break, two senior interviewers joined the meeting and asked further rapid-fire questions, along with DSA and System Design questions, for an additional hour and a half. All the interviewers seemed pleased with my responses, and I was informed that I had been selected during the interview itself. Later, a casual HR call took place.

Tip

Tip 1: Prepare for System Design thoroughly.
Tip 2: 2–3 medium to large-sized React projects with a strong GitHub profile are preferable for initial shortlisting.
Tip 3: Prepare core concepts such as Computer Networks, System Security, OOP, and DBMS.
