Journey
I started by covering all the basic concepts, such as Programming Fundamentals, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming. I began learning C++ as my programming language, and as soon as I became comfortable with coding, I started learning DSA. I focused on applying various data structures to different problems and using algorithms to optimize the solutions. Later, I moved on to Object-Oriented Programming. During my interview, my knowledge of code optimization and OOPS played a vital role in helping me crack the interview.
Application story
I applied for this job role through TCS NQT, which was an off-campus opportunity. After appearing for the online assessment held at a TCS exam center, I received an interview call two months later.
Why selected/rejected for the role?
I was selected because I was very confident in my answers. In all three rounds of the interview, including the technical, managerial, and HR rounds, the interviewers were very impressed and satisfied with my responses.

Tip 1: Prepare each topic thoroughly.
Tip 2: Practice various MCQs related to each Data Structure.
Tip 3: Practice OOP through hands-on coding examples to gain a good grasp.
