Interview preparation journey

Journey
I started my preparation from my 3rd year of graduation , I have never focussed on a particular company in the initial days, as I have heard from my seniors that the recruiters always look for candidates who have their basics clear. I started with studying core subjects of my branch , kept making notes which helped me in revision of topics when the interview dates were near.
Application story
TCS was day 1 company and since everyone knows it is like any other mass recruiter company , many people have hopes , there were massive applicants.
Why selected/rejected for the role?
For a fresher, the companies look for a person with learning mindset , they tested the basic knowledge and felt I possess the skills and can fit their culture , hence I was selected.

Consider all numbers from 1 to ‘N’, your task is to find the sum of gcd of all pairs (i, j) such that 1 <= i < j <= N.

For example for N = 3, all pairs are { (1, 2), (1, 3), (2, 3) }.

Note :

Gcd of two numbers (X, Y) is defined as the largest integer that divides both ‘X’ and ‘Y’.
Problem approach

An efficient solution is to use Euclidean algorithm which is the main algorithm used for this purpose. The idea is, GCD of two numbers doesn’t change if smaller number is subtracted from a bigger number.
