1. Case Study
If I am working as a Data Analyst for a Supermarket like Bigbazaar etc. and have to analyse the data for any sort of improvement I can make - what could it be?
Problem approach
Tip 1 : Make sure to solve some case studies while practising SQL or Python on dummy data because that will expose you to such real world problems.
Tip 2 : Give answers that do make sense from an analyst point of view that involves the use of running Queries or coding commands as well.
Tip 3 : My answer would be - Analyse Top 500 customers from data based on max transactions history in 6 months - run promotion offers for them, this will run as marketing as well as loyalty program. Lookout for Top selling products and make its visibility broader on shelfs. Lookout for less selling products and run promotional offers on them and stock it up less
