Genpact Headstrong Software Developer placement experience
Company: Genpact Headstrong
Profile: Software Developer
Salary: 2.5LPA
Interview date: Oct 2015
Name: Pooja Gupta
I wasn’t selected in this company. There were four rounds of interview. It was a great experience which made me to learn a lot of things about a technical interview.
Round 1: It was a written test on aptitude, verbal ability & logical reasoning.(got selected).
Round 2: It was a group discussion round in which we were given some technical topics to discuss. I got selected in this.
Round 3: It was a technical & programming round. Although, I wasn’t selected but my experience was good.
Round 4: It was HR round.
Overall Experience: I focused on the requirements of the company but and more on the technical subjects. The selection procedure and their management was great. I think i should have focused more on my programming skills (for this I am working hard now to improve my coding skills). That interview boosted me up to practice more programming.
Tips to follow while appearing for each round or company : Just be prepared with the various programs in C or C++ or Java. The aptitude round was easy and for GD be prepared with some technical and non-technical topics. Be confident and smile.
Key skills tested in the process: There were Skill tested in interview like Programming, verbal ability, problem solving ability and some technical subjects like DBMS.
Courses or certification that will help in getting selected: Certification in any programming language and any technology like java and asp.net will help along with the projects.
Your motivation for applying : Me, college, friends and family.
