ICICI Bank Interview Experience of Fresher

ICICI Bank is one of the leading banks in India, and it offers a variety of career opportunities for freshers. The interview process for freshers at ICICI Bank is typically divided into three rounds:

  • Career Test: The purpose of the career test in the first round is to evaluate your aptitude for a career in banking. The exam covers a wide range of topics, such as logical thinking, verbal reasoning, and mathematical reasoning.
  • Technical Interview: The objective of the technical interview in the second round is to gauge your technical problem-solving skills and understanding of the banking sector. You’ll be questioned during the interview about your educational history, banking software experience, and problem-solving abilities.
  • HR Interview: The third phase consists of an HR interview to evaluate your soft skills, including leadership, teamwork, and communication. The interviewer will enquire about your professional background, your objectives, and your compatibility with the company’s culture.

In this article, I will share my experience of the interview process for freshers at ICICI Bank. I will also provide some tips on how to prepare for the interview and how to answer common interview questions.

ICICI Bank Career Test

The ICICI Bank’s career test for freshers is a 60-minute exam with three sections- verbal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative reasoning. The test is computer-based, and you will have to answer 60 questions in total.

Math, algebra, and geometry are all included in the test’s quantitative reasoning component. The verbal reasoning portion of the exam includes questions on vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension. Problem-solving and critical thinking are two themes that are covered in the test’s logical reasoning part.

The career test was difficult but fair in my opinion. I studied the fundamental ideas in arithmetic, English, and logical thinking as I prepared for the exam. I also took several FNAT practice tests online.

Technical Interview Experience at ICICI Bank

A panel of two or three interviewers normally conducts the technical interview for fresh graduates at ICICI Bank. You will be questioned during the interview about your educational background, prior experience with banking software, and problem-solving abilities.

They inquired about my expertise with Java, my undergraduate degree in computer science, and my aptitude for solving technical issues. My understanding of the financial sector was something the interviewers were also interested in.

The technical interview questions were difficult but not overpowering, in my opinion. I over my computer science education and worked on my problem-solving techniques in order to get ready for the interview. Additionally, I did some research into the financial sector.
