Winners don’t do different things they just do things differently that’s what my friend told me while motivating me to sit for his dream company. I was a marketing student and did my internship from a good FMCG brand i.e. HCCBPL (Coca-Cola) & always dreamt of being placed in a good marketing role. Bitter experience came on my way when I actually faced GD & PIs of many big brands (Vodafone, Axis, GPI, L&T Fin etc) I was able to clear all rounds and all I was rejected was on my final round of PI & these rejections in the last level gave me immense dissatisfaction and I was shattered and broken by each and every company which rejected me on my last level no doubt for written test & Gds I had a good experience each time but for interview I had already developed a phobia and always tried to project myself artificially in front of my interviewers.

And finally when last few companies were left thinking of my friends words I decided to give my best no matter if I am selected or rejected along with all my preparations I decided to make one final change i.e. to be normal & original in front of interviewers and answer them politely if I knew the answer and even when I do not knew the answers being asked & on one particular day I had two interviews together (Berger Paints & Mahindra Finance) this change made me crack down both my interviews .

In spite of both the companies being best for me I decided to choose Mahindra Finance over Berger after thorough consultation with my college seniors.

Moral of the story-No matter how hard we try to impress our interviewers they are expert enough to make you foul and you will face rejection if you think that you can be fake in front of them I think a sincere efforts for all the rounds are required but at your interview Be yourself & give your best attitude is very important that’s when you give your 100% and pass out with flying colors.

Today I am proud to say that I am an employee at Mahindra Finance.
