NIIT networking field placement experience
Company: NIIT
Profile: Networking Field
Salary: 2.5LPA
Interview date: July 2015
Name: Rahul
I got selected in this company.
There were three round of interview. Online test was pretty good and little bit tougher. I enjoyed the test.
Round 1– It was an aptitude test but different form all the test I had given. Test was conducted on an offline mode. Test paper contains question related to puzzles and some mathematics.
Round 2– Technical interview in front of two members. They asked me question related to the course and some puzzles. I was shocked when heard bizarre puzzling question from them, well this was my first Technical interview and was happy at that moment, when it was cleared.
Round 3– HR round in front of only one member. He asked me question related to me and my family backgrounds. He was nice guy, took my interview as friend. He clearly told me before taking an interview, that feel free. Don’t be anxious and nervous.
Overall Experience: For round one, I practised hard for the aptitude, searched question related to the aptitude on an internet, solved lots of paper for test.
For the technical panel, I gone through my semester course like Computer languages, Software related books and all, but I didn’t know about the puzzling question they asked me. On an easy note puzzles are trickier but quite time consuming.
For HR round, I focused on my communication skills. Read newspapers, magazines, Google content through wiki.
Tips to follow while appearing for each round or company : Don’t be get to nervous. Panel will ask you only question for which you have to give answers for that, he will not eat you hahahahah……..that is what i was thinking before my first interview.
Prepare hard, when time come or when he is in your favour you will be placed in good companies.
Key skills tested in the process:
- Quick thinker.
- Confidence.
- Comm skills.
- Your perception to achieve something.
- And most probably Hard working
Courses or certification that will help in getting selected: Technical B.Sc Courses and BCA
Coaching / class room training you attended for the preparation ? : Nope. Self Dependent obviously my parents and my friends too.
Funny/ best / weird / thrilling moments during the process: HaHa the funnier thing is that, I was in the top four in an interview process and also got selected. This what, I was not expecting.
As I say its only because of hard work.
Thanks.
