Polaris Financial Technology Limited BFSI Domain placement experience
Company: Polaris Financial Technology Limited
Profile: BFSI domain
Salary: 3-5 lakhs
Interview Date: Nov 2015
Name: Kartik Kalia
I wasn’t selected
There were three rounds of interview.
I applied in Polaris financial technology limited during campus placements.
Round 1: First round was aptitude round which was quite easy to clear as majority of participants cleared the round.
Round 2: Next round was GD where the shortlisted students were divided in groups and each group was asked for the trending topic. My group’s topic in GD was literacy ratio in India. The GD process was quite good as everyone was allowed to present his thoughts, there was no hassle.
Round 2: Almost half of students from every group were selected for the final PI. The PI consisted of mostly HR questions including my Swot analysis and projects discussion. I was asked to present myself while standing on why they should hire me in only 1 minute. They asked me for my achievements (could be personal), my nature and my habits. There were around 12-15 questions overall. The PI lasted for around 20-25 minutes.
Overall experience: Overall experience was good. Only in PI I felt quite nervous. Strategy is one should have ability to solve normal level aptitude and should have normal speaking skills and knowledge about current trends. In PI one should be honest and confident.
For first round prepare for aptitude from any book. I prefer android apps.
For second round that is the GD round one should prepare on his/her communication skills and confidence level must be good.
For third round that is the final round one should be confident and should know clearly about himself/herself.
Key skills tested in the process: key skills were only confidence, communication skills and commitment towards organisation.
Your motivation for applying: As a fresher I applied in any reputed company in which i was eligible that came in our campus because in starting years package doesn’t matter. One Should focus on only learning and improving his skills.
Funny/ best / weird / thrilling moments during the process: Thrilling moment was when I was asked by the interviewer to standup and present myself on why they should hire me in only 1 minute.
