Application form just required to fill educational and personal information along with self declaration.
Please mention your remarks on the Written Test process.
Written was of 1hr 30 min. Paper consisted of 2 parts. Logical & English.
We were given answer script ( omr ) first they gave us Logical question paper and taken back after 40 min and then we were given English paper.
What went right for you at different stages of the process?
For infy selection only hurdle is to clear Apti. And our batch mates had equal chances of making through. English paper was a bit lengthy, my approach of solving Comprehension without reading the Contents clicked as a few of the question were direct to be answered.
Sometimes shortcuts do help but short cut should be smart enough to lead you to goal.
What went wrong for you at different stages of the process?
Nothing much just was tensed and had a severe headache throughout.
What question(s) did you ask the interview panel?
Interviewer asked general introduction, about my internship / training and about projects.
At the end he offered me to ask any question,
I asked, why interview mostly technical are as long as for hour or more?
Answer: We take more time in borderline cases, where our emotion and professional views start fighting.
Job is important for candidate that always remains in our (interviewer’s) mind. Before rejecting we try to answer ourselves am I doing justice with – Candidate, My Duty and Company ?
And there it takes lot of time.
I was convinced.
Any suggestions/ dos & don’ts/ special preparation tips for your juniors:
Focus on aptitude part, in any company apti is the biggest hurdle as we are out of touch for almost 3 to 4 years .
Technical is always Basic, hardly any high funda is asked in technical interview, Every one knows if basic is clear road ahead will be clearer.
So just focus on basics and do not panic.
Trust yourself and God,
Just keep in mind – if you have put your effort and result is not what you expected, it’s because something better is waiting for you. (But your effort should be sincere).
