Following were the interview rounds I faced at OLA Bangalore in the interview test for Software Engineer 1.
## Aptitude test
## Technical test
## Technical interview(s)
## HR round
What were the questions asked in the aptitude round of OLA Interview?
I had to solve a technical question cum answer sheet. There were a handful few technical questions in it. Since it was an OLA software engineer interview test, there were 3 coding questions as well. Also, there were 2 normal English language test questions and 1 DP.
## I faced questions like candle-time relation problems.
## I solved questions on ball probability, etc.
💡 Quick Tip: Always anticipate such questions. Understand the question properly and only then answer. Ask the interviewer/invigilator for help, if you have not understood any question.
What were the questions asked in the HR round of OLA Interview?
They asked ‘Tell me about yourself.’ Then I was asked to speak about my projects and internships. The interviewer was very patient while I was explaining my project. So, I explained in detail to ensure that they understood it all.
This is the same pattern which is followed in most of the companies. So, if you are looking for a job, it’s worth spending some time and preparing properly before you give interviews.
How to prepare for OLA Software Engineer Interview
Practice, practice and practice. Come prepared as that is the trick to land an OLA software engineer interview. You can try available question papers online. The more you practice, the better you will perform.
Most of the questions I faced were available online. The set of questions they asked is very common. I would recommend reading questions available online and prepare from them. Brush up your aptitude based on previous year software engineer question papers and patterns. Supposedly, OLA asks everyone to solve the same set. So, practice in advance and you will surely be able to land an OLA career.
Special tips and tricks for OLA interview
## Be prepared. Read up previous year questions and answers from Career Guidance section on Firstnaukri.
## Also, try and speak fluently in simple English. Avoid jargons and ensure to put across valid points only.
If you are not able to make it, do not get demotivated. Failure is the stepping stone for success. The more you fail the more experiences you gain and the better you will become for your next interview.
All the best for your OLA interview and OLA career!
