Linkedin is heard by mostly all professionals working in the corporate world. Linkedin is a social media platform used to connect working professionals in a professional way. My Network

My network shows the people the user is connected with. According to his previous connection, it also suggests people working in different fields, so that one can expand his network. It also displays the invitation list. The invitation list includes the people who want to get connected with you. It also shows the people who have accepted the invitation. Nowadays, we can send personalised invitations to people so that he/she can be aware of one’s motives for being connected.

Jobs

The job section displays the recent job searches made by individuals. It also categorises jobs relevant to one’s interest, matches the profile and displays them. One can apply to the company of their interest by the “easy apply” feature available on Linkedin or by manually filling out the entire application. Also, asking the recruitment team for referrals serves as an added advantage. 

Messaging

This section helps to contact other people. It is basically a chat feature. Here you can also add images or attach documents. The notification is also displayed on an individual’s email account. Make a note that you are interacting with people on Linkedin only in a professional and ethical way. Do not spam them.

Notification

The notification section informs the users about who has seen one’s profile, if somebody is celebrating their work anniversaries or if someone has endorsed one’s skills and many more. It also shows what your connections are up to. The notification section gives you updates on openings in various companies.

Me

The me section provides the basic details of an individual’s account.  It includes the history of an individual’s education, one’s career history, presently where one is working, one’s short introduction, all the skills that the individual possesses, and projects made. It also includes one’s analytics, for example, the number of people who viewed your profile and the number of search appearances you were in.
