The GRiD engineering campus challenge from Flipkart gives you the chance to compete and complete important challenges while using your technological expertise. Flipkart Grid, now in the year 2022, has organised its fourth edition and is getting bigger and bigger, presenting real-world challenges from the e-commerce industry to the world's top engineers.
For the past four years, Flipkart has been organizing this Challenge and giving the opportunity to students from various domains to participate and win different prizes and also got a chance to get an Interview call from Flipkart for full-time and internship.

Eligibility Criteria and Team Rules
The latest eligibility criteria for Flipkart GRiD 5.0 is given below.
Students studying B.Tech/B.E/B.S/M.Tech/M.S or equivalent Engineering Programs from ALL Engineering Colleges in India and the United States are eligible to compete (Batch 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026).
Students must enrol in groups of two or three.
The class of 2022 is ineligible to compete in this event.
Students from any specialisation can participate.
They must be full-time students at the same engineering college.
A single person is only permitted to be a part of one team.
Any deviation from the aforementioned will result in the team's immediate disqualification.

Stages and Hackathons Under GRiD
The Software Development Track will feature two to three elimination levels to test your technical, analytical, and ideation skills before the National Finale, where the Finalists will present their ideas to a panel of Flipkart Domain Experts.
Level 1: E-Commerce & Tech Quiz
Each team will be given a set of questions to answer in 30 minutes. It will be based on E-Commerce Trivia and Technology (Technology Awareness + Techstack & Computer Science Fundamentals).
Rules for the E-Commerce & Tech Quiz round are given below.
Each team that has registered must complete an online test.
A team may participate in the quiz round with all of its players.
A team will be given a score based on the average scores of the team members participating in the quiz round.
Please note that all the team members don't need to take the quiz.
During the quiz window, all teams will take this quiz simultaneously.
Both accuracy (score) and speed (finish time) will be used to rank each participant; therefore, if two teams have the same score but completed earlier, the earlier team will be ranked higher.
Participating teams will advance to the next level depending on how well they score in this evaluation.
It will be based on E-Commerce Trivia and Tech (tech awareness + tech stack & computer science fundamentals).

Problem Statement Preference Selection for GRiD 5.0
The Level 1 selected teams are required to submit their preferences for the problem statements. The problem statements will be distributed to the teams according to the shared preferences and Level 1 scores.

Blockchain-based eCommerce warranty system using NFTs.
Extract Trends from social media data.
Level 2: Submission of Proof of Concept with Demo Video and Code submission
Level 1 qualifying teams will work on the Idea Submission and create an Idea Brief and a video. They will be able to submit until the round's deadline at any moment throughout the challenge window.
Rules for the Submission of Proof of Concept with Demo Video and Code submission round are given below.
Level 1 shortlisted teams will have to take part in level 2.
Depending on the domain area of interest you chose after level 1, a problem statement will be given to you.
Each problem statement assigned to a team will only be available to that team.
You may submit your work until the level's deadline at any moment throughout the challenge term.
The requirement at this level is to present a working proof of concept together with a sample video and source code.
Based on their performance, participating teams in this level will advance to the next level.

Rewards and Prizes
There are appealing prizes to be won and the chance to participate in the recruiting process for tech internships and full-time positions.
Internship Stipend: INR 1,00,000 per month.
SDE-1 Role Compensation: INR 32.57 LPA.
Prizes
EGVs of INR 1,50,000 are given to winners.
The first runners-up will receive EGVs worth INR 75,000.
The top 50 teams in the Level 1 Quiz will receive GRiD goodies.
Note: The prize amount for foreign competitors will be determined by the currency conversion rate at the time of prize distribution.
