For UGC NET 2022, the eligibility conditions for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and Assistant Professorship are different. Before beginning to fill out the UGC NET application form, candidates must check the eligibility conditions, which include educational qualification, age limit, relaxation, and exemption. When it comes to verifying eligibility, candidates must bear the following criteria in mind:

  • Candidates do not need to send any certifications or documents to the National Testing Agency in order to demonstrate their eligibility.
  • Candidates' information in the application form is not checked by the NTA, therefore their candidacy is merely provisional until they meet the qualifying standards.
  • If the NTA or the UGC discovers any ineligibility during the process, the candidate's candidature will be cancelled, and legal action will be pursued against them.

Reservation Policy

The reservation policy for the UGC NET exam is governed by Indian government regulations. As a result, places in central universities and institutes that are considered universities are reserved. The procedure for making a seat reservation is outlined below.

    Candidates who have achieved a postgraduate degree are eligible to apply for the UGC NET Exam, which is held twice a year. Candidates in their final year can also apply for the exam.
