On-campus Selection Procedure🏹

On-campus selection is one of the ways to join IBM. The company conducts campus recruitment at various colleges to choose the top students. This year recruiting is virtual and depends on management. First, let's check whether you are eligible to apply to IBM.

Below are the fundamental requirements which must be met.

IBM divides the on-campus process into three rounds. These are:

  • Coding test
  • English test 
  • Interview

Coding Test 

The test procedure consists of 6 questions (1 Coding and 5 MCQs). The duration of this test is 30 minutes. This tests problem-solving ability. Languages given for coding questions are CC++Java, and Python. The MCQ section consists of questions related to DBMS(Database management system)data structures, and computer networking

English Test

Just after completion, if you clear the above round, you will get mail to start English text. The company uses this round to judge the employee's proficiency in English. In this round, you can expect questions related to antonyms, synonyms, sentence completion, etc. There was no limit on the number of questions; try to maximum questions in the given time frame. 

Interview 

Candidates who clear the above two assessments will get mail for the technical interview. Technical interviews evaluate your technical skills like thinking, solving problems, and dealing with stressful situations. The interviewer can also examine your problem-solving abilities. They may discuss resume-based questions like projects or professional experience. The number of technical interviews may vary based on the firm's demand and job profile.

Off-Campus Selection Procedure 🔎

HR Interview 

Candidates who advance to the HR round will be evaluated based on their personality, strengths, weakness, background, etc. They can also ask questions about the company's history, aims, and structure. While introducing yourself, explain your interest, strength, and hobbies.

But first, get familiar with languages like C++JavaPython, etc. 
     
  • English Test 
    The company expects its employees to be expressive to everyone. As English is a must-to-know language, IBM checks for your level.   • Interview
