Eligibility Criteria

This section will familiarise candidates (freshers) with Amazon's selection procedures, graduation requirements, academic requirements, and required documentation for positions such as Software Development Engineer. 

Graduation Criteria

Only full-time courses will be considered for graduation (Part-time and correspondence courses will not be considered).

  • B.E / B.Tech  in any discipline (CSE/ IT/ ECE/ EEE/ M.E/ TELECOM/ CIVIL etc.).
  • Engineering candidates who have completed their studies are eligible to apply.
  • M.Sc graduates in Computer Science &  Information technology can apply.
  • MCA graduates are eligible to apply.
  • The graduation must be a full-time course approved by the Indian Central/State governments.

 

Please remember that a candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of technical subjects.

Academic Criteria

  • Amazon doesn’t have any percentage criteria for 10th, 12th and graduation.
  • A maximum gap of 1 year is permissible after HSC(12th) and not after SSC(10th) or between graduation semesters.
  • A candidate should not have any pending backlogs when appearing for the Amazon selection process.

Some of the policies that Amazon has are:

  • A candidate is disqualified from applying if he or she has attended an interview within the last six months from the date of the current application.
  • If Amazon rejects an applicant during an interview, the candidate is ineligible to apply for six months after the interview.
